The Flannery Foundation was established in 2010 by Brian and Peggy Flannery to give back into the community and support Australian Charities to make a change. The primary objective of the Foundation is to help our most vulnerable, including those who are experiencing homelessness, women and children that have experienced abuse. The Foundation provides organisations with reassurance and stability that is needed to scale their operations effectively each year.
BRIAN FLANNERY,
PRINCIPAL
Brian Flannery has more than 40 years’ global experience as a mining engineer. Recently he has focused on growing his own family office with interests spanning resources, energy, property development and philanthropy.
He holds directorships in several related companies and is Managing Director of ASX listed White Energy Company Limited.
Brian has also been Chairman of the Mater Foundation and led several other major ASX listed companies.

Peggy Flannery is the heart of the Flannery Foundation and is actively involved in choosing the charitable causes the Foundation supports.
In recent times Peggy has embarked on a more ambitious residential and commercial property trajectory including the development of a world-class resort at Byron Bay.
As well as being the Managing Director of KTQ Group, Peggy has also been a Director and part owner of childcare centres and aged care companies across Australia.

Kirstan Flannery has extensive knowledge in establishing non-profits, including Human Nature Adventure Therapy and Centre for Social Change.
Most recently she co-founded Birth for Humankind, a non-profit organisation offering free birth support, education and care in the community.
Kirstan continued to serve as Chairwoman of the Board for an additional 3 years until recently stepping away from that role.

In recent years, Tyson has worked on large scale projects including residential and commercial property.

Quentin Flannery is currently a director of several family companies and oversees strategy and trading for the investment portfolio. He is active in managing the financial aspects of the Flannery Foundation.

He is also a corporate ambassador for Australian charity, Act for Kids.
